Q & A

Will you be having a ceremony?

We have chosen to have a private ceremony on September 27, 2025 with only immediate family in attendance. We’re looking forward to seeing & celebrating with all our loved ones at the reception.

When should I RSVP by?

We will share the RSVP cutoff deadline when we send out formal invitations in the next few months. If you already know if you are or aren’t able to attend, feel free to RSVP now!

How do you recommend getting to Brooklyn? Where should I stay?

Check the Travel tab for all of our recommendations on the best airports to fly into and options for hotels during your stay!

How do I get to all the different event locations?

Check the Travel tab for all the details on how to get to our events and around town!

What should I wear?

For our welcome party, we suggest using this as an opportunity to dress up a little more than you normally would for a night out!

For our wedding reception, we’re requesting fun, formal attire. We’d love to see our guests dress up in whatever makes them feel their best! Bright colors, sparkles, unique fabrics & textures, and other fun stylistic elements are all encouraged but not required.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Our welcome party on September 26th will be outdoors, weather permitting. While the welcome party will not be on grassy terrain, please keep in mind that the venue is located in a park so there may be uneven surfaces nearby in case this affects your choice of footwear.

Our cocktail hour ahead of our reception dinner on September 27th will also be outdoors, weather permitting and there is no grass at the venue.

Late September in NYC is some of our favorite weather. Daytime temperatures usually fall between 70°- 80° F. Evening weather is cooler, and we’re hopeful for temperatures in the mid to high 60s° F.

Will there be food?

We will be providing drinks & light bites at our welcome party. If you want to get dinner before or after, we’re happy to provide recommendations for some of our favorite spots in North Brooklyn. Check the “Things To Do” tab for more detail but feel free to reach out to Diva or Scott if you want any more options.

At our wedding reception, we will provide drinks, a family-style dinner, and dessert.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

When you RSVP, you will have the opportunity to let us know about any dietary restrictions so that we’re able to make sure they are accommodated.

Can I bring a plus one?

We are looking forward to an intimate celebration with our close friends and family, and are only able to accommodate those who are named on your invitation / RSVP.

Is there an afterparty?

Yes! For anyone who wants to help keep the party going after our recpetion, we’ll be having an afterparty at a nearby bar. Don’t worry - it’s only a 4 minute walk away, but feel free to bring some dancing shoes to change into if you’ll be more comfortable in those later!

Will Panko be there?

Yes!!!

We would not want to celebrate this day without him. Panko will join us for the outdoor events (welcome party & cocktail hour). He will be going home for any indoor events. If you have any concerns about allergies, please reach out to Diva and Scott and we will help with accommodations.

Do you have a registry? Should I bring a gift to the reception?

Our home is full to the brim with everything we currently need, so we have opted to forgo a registry and politely request no physical gifts at the reception. In lieu of traditional gifts, we would be grateful for any cash contributions towards our honeymoon if you choose to give a gift. Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, cash, or check are all wonderful options and will let you avoid paying fees to a registry fund.

Are either of you changing your last names?

Even though Panko’s last name is Gulatson, we will be keeping our names as-is. Please address any future correspondence to Mrs. Diva Gulati & Mr, Scott Hendrickson.

I have a question that isn’t answered here.

Please reach out to Diva and Scott directly with any other questions.
